1. I am a really good cook.

2. I have the complexion of a ginger.

3. More tone deaf than anyone you ever met.

4. I really really want a garden.

5. Almost as badly as I want a puppy.

6. I have fallen in love with blogging. Like obsessed.

7. Nobody in my family except my Husband knows about my blog.

8. Im not the get down on the floor and play kinda mom.

9. More like a read books to eachother all day kinda mom.

10. I laugh really loud. I am known far and wide for it.

11. I can't wear pajama pants without socks. Drives me nuts.

1. If you could only listen to 5 songs for the rest of your life, which songs would they be?

 

This is probably one of the most difficult questions for me to answer. Right off the top of my head: Bush-Glycerin, Flogging Molly-If I ever leave this world alive, Fleetwood Mac-Sarah, Ingrid Michaelson-Sort of, Gaslight Anthem-Meet me by the rivers edge

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

 

Europe

3. What is one of your favorite childhood memories?

Climbing trees and bonfires

4. If you were to get a new/your first tattoo, what would it be of?

 

My first tatoo may be either my sons name (Henry), Mt Ranier, or a picture of my grandma

5. Were you in any clubs in high school? Are you still interested in the same things?

 

Cross country running and cheerleading, I run every now and then. Every once in a while I make an attempt to get serious with it and I never follow thru.

6. What is your favorite smell?

 

Fresh cut grass. I don't know

7. Do you believe in ghosts? Why?

 

Kinda. More like spirits. It doesn't really freak me out or anything. More peaceful than anything.

8. If you could change one thing about your body would you change anything? What would it be?

 

I want to (WILL) be skinny again.

9. What fictional character (movie, t.v. show, or book) do you most relate to?

 

Jess from New Girl. I am the dork with no shame.

10. If you could meet any famous person from the past or present, who would it be?

 

Celine Dion.....I have wanted to since I was a little girl. Don't judge.

11. Why did you start blogging?

I was looking for breastfeeding advice right after I had Henry and I stumbled across the blogoshphere. Naturally, having no mom friends, I joined in.

Transitioning into toddlerhood has been rough around here. We have been seeing some pretty intense tantrums. I can't help but think back to when my little bean looked like this:

My never ending war with my chores.

Some time ago I wrote this post and guess what? 6 months later....I still feel like the housework is spiralling out of control. I few months ago I started the Flylady program(its free and it works) and I was starting to get the hang of it. Then I stopped. I don't know why.

I am starting again today and you all can hold me accountable. Any other Flylady fans out there?

Throughout my childhood various careers fancied my interests including but not limited to: astronaut, singer, writer, and a brain surgeon (sometimes simultaneously, sometimes not). As I grew up my dreams were crushed one by one.

To be an astronaut you have to have perfect vision. In fifth grade I found out I am as blind as a bat.

To be a singer.....well you have to be able to sing. I am not even gonna go there.......

Writer? The only modern writers I had ever heard of were the starving artist types.

Brain surgery requires a lot of school which means a lot of money. Beside who wants a klutz working on them?



What should I be when I grow up? Oh late night pondering. Isn't it weird how we never think this deep during the day?

Today was a crummy one. Henry didn't get his nap and apparently toddlers are nuclear bombs if they don't get their naps. Husband is being a turd. (marriage is hard)
