My guys........

Today was a crummy one. Henry didn't get his nap and apparently toddlers are nuclear bombs if they don't get their naps. Husband is being a turd. (marriage is hard)

but its like impossible to stay mad at them when I stumble across pictures like this:

Happy Birthday to you Henry!

Birthday numero uno did not go as planned.....at all. We still had no power and were freezing. We did get out of the house tho woot woot! We met up with Oscar's brother Victor and one of their aunts at Chuckie Cheese. We then headed over to Toys R Us and picked up.........

Yes that is a ball pit and yes I feel like a super cool mom now. Although I am pretty sure I am going to be picking up balls for the next 15 years.......

Stay tuned for more birthday adventures next weekend. We had a party scheduled for saturday but had to postpone for crazy weather.

It's a snow day! We have been spending the day inside and watching the snow fall. It looks so pretty! I can't wait for Henry to be old enough to go play in it .....but for now I am going to go make some hot chocolate and wait for my little bean to wake up from his afternoon nap.

Ok in a totally bitersweet way, I am relieved the holidays are over. Who knew it is so much work when you have a wee one? Not to mention the feeling of pressure to get everything right for your kids first christmas! I am glad it is a wonderful memory : )

T R O U B L E

Henry is nine months today. He is quicker than ever and into EVERYTHING! I watched him do this. I probably should have stopped him but it looked like so much fun. I may regret it late though. Happy nine months baby!

pointless blog

So tonight I have the one thing I have wanted more than anything recently (besides health and happiness for my family of course). I have silence and a moment to just be......Henry is down for bed he went pretty early and the husband went to visit his friends. My house is quiet and I can do ANTHING I WANT.........but I have no clue what to do with myself. No housework...no homework...no baby.....no hubby. This is weird.
